One flat fee, never a percentage
The fee is set by the county's value of the home, not by the price. The same chart for buying and selling. Due only at closing.
County value of the home:
What's county value?
County value is the county property appraiser's own estimate of a home's market value, updated every year for property taxes (the official term is "just value"). It's public — anyone can look up any home on the property appraiser's website — and it's set by the county, not by us or by you. It typically runs below what homes actually sell for. We use it so our flat fee never depends on the price.
Buying
Touring is free. If you buy through us, you pay the flat fee at closing, and anything the seller pays us comes off it first. Selling one home and buying your next with us? Your buying fee is half.
Fees are not set by law and are negotiable.
